Reuben Moyo, MSc

PhD Student

Reuben Moyo is a PhD student at SACEMA, registered in the faculty of medicine and health sciences. His PhD is specifically focusing on evaluating the effect of the scale-up of Dolutegravir antiretroviral therapy on clinical outcomes, HIV incidence, all-cause, HIV mortality, and population HIV viral load. His previous work involved developing a risk prediction model for HIV among adolescent girls and young women in South Africa to identify high-risk adolescent girls and young women to be linked to HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis. Reuben’s research interest includes analysis of longitudinal and time to event data, evaluation of public health interventions and sexual and reproductive health research.  Reuben holds an MSc in Epidemiology from Stellenbosch University, and MSc in Demography and Health from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
